How to Take It

4 to 10 mg — 24 hourly
With or without meal at bed time.

Safety Alerts
You should not use montelukast if you are allergic to it
Tell your doctor if you have ever had: mental illness or psychosis
or asthma, or a history of severe allergic reaction (sneezing, runny or stuffy nose, wheezing, shortness of breath) after taking aspirin or another NSAID
The chewable montelukast tablet may contain phenylalanine and could be harmful if you have phenylketonuria (PKU)
Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding
Important Warnings
Do not substitute abruptly for inhaled or oral steroid therapy, not for use for relief of acute symptoms
Discontinue if symptoms of Churg-Strauss syndrome appear
Phenyl ketonuria with chewable tablet (contain aspartame)
