Aceclofenac also known as Aceclofenacum. It is of Synthetic origin and belongs to Phenylacetic acid. It belongs to Cyclo-oxygenase inhibitor pharmacological group on the basis of mechanism of action. The Molecular Weight of Aceclofenac is 354.18.
How to Take It
1
Adult · PO
100 mg — 12 hourly
Reduce dose to 100 mg in hepatic impairment.
Safety Alerts
Active or recurrent GI bleeding or ulceration, cerebrovascular disease, history of GI bleeding or GI perforation related to previous NSAID therapy, history of recurrent GI haemorrhage, ischaemic heart disease, heart failure, peripheral arterial disease, moderate to severe renal impairment, aspirin/anti-inflammatory induced allergy
Important Warnings
Renal, hepatic or cardiac impairment
GI disease, allergic disorders, avoid in acute porphyrias, coagulation defects, connective-tissue disorders, Crohns disease (may be exacerbated), elderly, oedema, risk factors for cardiovascular events, ulcerative colitis (may be exacerbated)
