Febrile illness, allergy to eggs or poultry, some products are not licensed for use in children under3 years of age and some are for adult only (consult product literature)

Important Warnings

Influenza vaccine should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy or lactation
It should be used with caution in patients with any illness, infection or if have any allergy especially to eggs or egg products
The administration of the vaccine should be postponed in subjects suffering from acute febrile illness
The Vaccine only prevent the disease caused by influenza virus, infection with other agents causing flu-like symptoms are not prevented by influenza vaccine
Appropriate medical treatment and supervision should always be readily available in case of a rare anaphylactic reactions following the administration of the vaccine

Antiviral agents should not be administered until two weeks after immunization with live influenza virus vaccine unless medically indicated.
