How to Take It

125 mg — 12 hourly
Only in combination with either Amoxicillin or Ticarcillin.

Clavulanic Acid produces potentially life-threatening effects which include Pseudomembranous colitisAnaphylaxis. which are responsible for the discontinuation of Clavulanic Acid therapy. The signs and symptoms that are produced after the acute over dosage of Clavulanic Acid include NauseaVomiting. The symptomatic adverse reactions produced by Clavulanic Acid are more or less tolerable and if they become severethey can be treated symptomaticallythese include DiarrheaFeverMaculopapular rashUrticariaIncrease in serum transaminase.
