How to Take It

50 to 120 mg/sq.meter — As recommended.
Single dose, every month, As Required

15 to 20 mg/ sq.meter/day — As recommended.
For 5 days every month, As Required.

32 to 17.5 mg/sq.meter — 24 hourly

Safety Alerts
You should not be treated with cisplatin if you are allergic to it
Tell your doctor if you have ever had: prior treatment with cisplatin
hearing or vision problems
bone marrow suppression
peripheral vascular disease such as Raynaud's syndrome
Important Warnings
Cisplatin can affect your nervous system, increase your risk of bleeding or infection, or harm your kidneys
Call your doctor if you have a fever, mouth sores, cough, sore throat, unusual bleeding or bruising, hearing problems, numbness or tingling in your hands or feet, little or no urinating, swelling or rapid weight gain, or shortness of breath
Side Effects
Get emergency medical help if you have signs of an allergic reaction: hivesfast heartbeatsfeeling light-headedwheezingdifficulty breathingswelling of your facelipstongueor throat. You may have a severe allergic reaction within minutes of receiving a cisplatin injection. Your caregivers will quickly treat you if you if this occurs. Cisplatin may cause serious side effects. Call your doctor at once if you have: severe or ongoing nausea and vomitingvision problemspain behind your eyeshearing problemsringing in your earspainredness
