Predisposition to thromboembolism
interferes with colorimetric measurements of calcium in blood and urine
Predisposition to cardiovascular disease
assess risk before and every 6-12 months during treatment
Severe allergic reactions including drug rash with eosinophilia and systemic symptoms (DRESS), have been reported
