Important Warnings
Hepatitis B virus co-infection
screen patients for hepatitis B before starting treatment, patients infected with both hepatitis B and C viruses must be monitored and managed accordingly
Child-Pugh C liver disease, decompensated liver disease, human immunodeficiency virus co-infection, organ transplant patients, treatment with direct-acting antivirals may affect the efficacy of vitamin K antagonists
INR should be monitored closely in patients receiving concomitant treatment
