How It Works
Inject deep IM large muscle mass. Inject direct IV over 5 min. Infuse intermittent infusion over 30-60 min. IV Detail: pH 4-6. Reconstitute for IV using manufacturers guidelines. IM: Reconstitute 500 mg vial of drug with 1.3 ml of diluent, such as SWFI (or 1 gm vial with 2.4 ml of diluent). See drug to drug compatibility chart

You should not use this medicine if you are allergic to cefepime or other cephalosporin antibiotic (cefdinir, cefalexin, Keflex, Omnicef, and others), or penicillin antibiotics (amoxicillin, ampicillin, Augmentin, and others)
Tell your doctor if you have ever had: an allergic reaction to an antibiotic
kidney disease (or if you are on dialysis)
intestinal problems, such as colitis
or if you are malnourished

Dry Powder for Inj Store at room temperature, Below 25°C or in refrigerator. Do not Freeze. Protect from Sunlight. Inj (reconstituted Soln) Store at room temperature, Between 20°C-25°C or in refrigerator. Use within 7 days if refrigerated and within 24 hrs if kept at room temperature.
