Betamethasone also known as Betamethasone -17-valerate. Betamethasone (Valerate), Betamethasone (Valerate), Betamethasone (Valerate) are the derivatives of Betamethasone. It is of Synthetic origin and belongs to Steroid. How to Take It

4 to 20 mg — As recommended.
At affected area only .

Frequency may be increased upto 12 times/day if needed.

Safety Alerts

Acne, perioral dermatitis, widespread plaque psoriasis, rosacea, bacterial, fungal or viral skin lesions such as impetigo, paronychia, erysipelas, cellulitis, angular cheilitis, erythrasma, treatment of rosacea, peri-oral dermatitis or acne, use on face, groin or axilla

Important Warnings

Avoid prolonged use, keep away from eyes, under specialist supervision in psoriasis (can result in rebound relapse, development of generalized pustular psoriasis, and local and systemic toxicity) Do not use steroid as sole therapy in psoriasis
Do not use steroids to treat diaper dermatoses in infants
If local irritation develops discontinue use
