How to Take It

1.5 mg — 12 hourly
Dose may be increased according to the response by 1.5 mg at minimum. 2 week intervals to Max. Dose 6 mg BID.

You should not take rivastigmine if you are allergic to rivastigmine or similar medicines, such as felbamate , meprobamate , or carisoprodol
You should not take oral rivastigmine if you have ever had severe redness, itching, or skin irritation caused by wearing a rivastigmine transdermal skin patch
Tell your doctor if you have ever had: an ulcer or stomach bleeding
liver or kidney disease
urination problems

Hepatic or renal impairment, sick sinus syndrome, conduction defects, history or risk of GI ulceration, asthma, obstructive pulmonary disease, bladder outflow obstruction
