Fusidic Acid is contraindicated in conditions like Hepatic failure, Hypersensitivity
Important Warnings
Fusidic acid is incompletely absorbed and doses recommended for suspension are proportionately higher than those for sodium fusidate tablets, fusidic acid should not be used for longer than 10 days
Impaired biliary excretion
possibly increased risk of hepatotoxicity
avoid or reduce dose
Elimination may be reduced in hepatic impairment or biliary disease or biliary obstruction
Monitor liver function in hepatic impairment with high doses or on prolonged therapy
