Safety Alerts

Acute myocardial infarction, bradycardia, congenital long QTsyndrome, electrolyte disturbances, heart failure with reduced left ventricular ejection fraction, history of symptomatic arrhythmias, history of tendon disorders related to quinolone treatment, liver impairment

Risk of seizures
discontinue if occur
Seek spe-cialist ophthalmological advice if any effects on eyes
Risk of tendon inflammation/rupture
t limb pain or inflammation should be monitored
Pro-arrhythmic conditions including acute MI and QT prolongation discontinue immediately with signs of arrhythmia and perform ECG
Risk of pseudomembranous colitis
consider if patient has persistent diarrhoea, G6PD deficiency
