Nicotinamide also known as Niacinamide. Nicotinamide ascorbate is the derivative of Nicotinamide. It is of Natural origin and belongs to Amide. It belongs to Vitamin, Water Soluble pharmacological group. The Molecular Weight of Nicotinamide is 122.10. It is weakly alkaline drug, 4.49% solution of the drug is isotonic.
How to Take It

1.428 to 3.571 mg/kg — 24 hourly

Nicotinamide is contraindicated in conditions like Wilson's disease, Hypersensitivity to any component of product
Important Warnings
Nicotinamide should be used with caution in patients with history of heart disease, high blood pressure or insulin-dependent diabetes
This is not recommended for use during pregnancy or lactation
Side Effects
Nicotinamide produces potentially life-threatening effects which include HepatotoxicityCholestasisPortal fibrosis. which are responsible for the discontinuation of Nicotinamide therapy. The signs and symptoms that are produced after the acute overdosage of Nicotinamide include Transient liver dysfunctioning.
