Ceftriaxone (Na) also known as Ceftriaxone. It is of Semi Synthetic origin and belongs to Cephalosporin. It belongs to Peptidoglycan synthesis inhibitor pharmacological group on the basis of mechanism of action and also classified in Antibiotic, Cephalosporin-3rd Gen pharmacological group. The Molecular Weight of Ceftriaxone (Na) is 554.60. It is weakly acidic drug.
How to Take It
1
Adult · 0.5-2 pre-operatively for prophylaxis against infection in surgery.
1 g — 24 hourly

Adult · IM
0.25 to 0.5 g — As recommended.

Adult · IV,IM
1 to 2 g — 24 hourly
Once daily or in two divided doses. Max. dose: 4 g/day. Given by IV infusion over atleast 30 minutes.

Child · For prevention of secondary cases of mennigococcal meningitis
0 to 125 mg — As recommended.

Child · Intra Venous
20 to 50 mg/kg — 24 hourly
For serve infections up to 80mg/kg daily should be given
Safety Alerts
Before you receive Monjuvi, tell your healthcare provider about all of your medical conditions, including if you: have an active infection or have had one recently are pregnant or plan to become pregnant are breastfeeding or plan to breastfeed
Important Warnings
Monjuvi may cause the following serious side effects: Infusion reactions
Your healthcare provider will monitor you for infusion reactions during your infusion of Monjuvi
Tell your healthcare provider right away if you get a fever, chills, rash, flushing, headache, or shortness of breath during an infusion of Monjuvi
Low blood cell counts (platelets, red blood cells, and white blood cells)
Low blood cell counts are common with Monjuvi, but can also be serious or severe
Your healthcare provider will monitor your blood counts during treatment with Monjuvi
Tell your healthcare provider right away if you get a fever of 100
4°F (38°C) or above, or any bruising or bleeding, or fever, mouth sores, skin sores, sore throat , cough, trouble breathing
Side Effects
The most common side effects of Monjuvi when given with lenalidomide in DLBCL are: respiratory tract infection feeling tired or weak diarrhea cough fever swelling of the lower legs or hands decreased appetite infusion-related reactions. The most common side effects of Monjuvi when given with lenalidomide and rituximab in FL are: respiratory tract infections diarrhea rash feeling tired or weak muscle and bone pain constipation cough infusion-related reactions.
