How to Take It

2.5 mg/kg/day — As recommended.
Should be given for 28 days.The dose should be adjusted based on patients weight so that a dose of 4mg/kg per day is not exceeded.

You should not use miltefosine if you are allergic to it, or if you have: a rare genetic skin and nerve disorder called Sjogren-Larsson syndrome
or if you are pregnant
