How to Take It

Adult · IM, IV
250 to 1000 mcg — As recommended.
Alternate days for 1 to 2 weeks followed by 250 mcg weekly. Then for maintenance administer 1000 mcg every 2-3 weeks.

500 mcg — 8 hourly
Treatment depends upon extent of iron deficiency.
