How It Works
Administered by continuous intravenous infusion or by intermittent IV infusion over one hour. Do not give by direct IV injection. Do not administer IV metronidazole with aluminum needles or hubs or through same IV line as other drugs.
How to Take It

500 mg — 8 hourly
For 10 Days

Child · Oral
5 to 10 mg/kg — 8 hourly
Recommended for 5-12 Yrs of Children

20 mg/kg — As recommended.
Children of 12 years. It is given for 10days.
