How to Take It

Safety Alerts
You should not use miconazole oral if you are allergic to miconazole (Monistat, Vusion, and others) or if you are allergic to milk proteins
To make sure miconazole buccal is safe for you, tell your doctor if you have ever had: liver disease
or an allergic reaction to antifungal medicine
It is not known whether this medicine will harm an unborn baby
Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant
Important Warnings
Avoid in acute porphyrias, avoid intra-vaginal preparations (particularly those that require use of an applicator) in young girls who are not sexually active, unless there is no alternative
