Pyridoxine also known as Vitamin B6. Pyridoxine HCl is the derivative of Pyridoxine. It is of Synthetic origin and belongs to Pyridine. It belongs to Nutrients and Vitamins pharmacological group on the basis of mechanism of action. The Molecular Weight of Pyridoxine is 169.18. It is strongly acidic drug, 3.05% solution of the drug is isotonic and Its pKa is 5.0, 9.0.
How to Take It

Adult · PO, IV, IM
50 to 400 mg — 24 hourly
Dose vary according to indication, Daily requirement 1.7-2mg

Child · Oral
0.5 to 1 mg/kg — 8 hourly
