How to Take It

Adult · PO
250 to 500 mg — 12 hourly
For Musculoskeletal disorder and Dysmenorrhea .Initially given 500 mg which is followed by 250 mg every 6 or 8 hr

250 to 1000 mg — 12 hourly
For rheumatic disease and chronic pain.It should be taken after food

Adult · PO
750 mg — 12 hourly
For Acute Gout .Initially given 500 mg which is followed by 250 mg every 8 hr

Adult · Rectal (supp)
500 mg — As recommended.
For Musculoskeletal Disorder and Dysmenorrhea .1 suppository given at Bed time followed by 1 suppository in the morning.

Use naproxen exactly as directed on the label, or as prescribed by your doctor. Do not take this medicine in larger amounts or for longer than recommended. Use the lowest dose that is effective in

5 to 0 mg/kg — 12 hourly
1 month to 18 years which may be increased to 10-15mg/kg twice daily.

Active GI bleeding or ulceration, history of GI bleeding or perforation related to previous NSAID therapy, history of recurrent GI haemorrhage or ulceration (two or more distinct episodes), severe heart failure, aspirin/anti-inflammatory induced allergy, hepatic and renal failure

Allergic disorders, cardiac impairment, cerebrovascular disease, coagulation defects, connective-tissue disorders, Crohns disease, elderly, heart failure, ischaemic heart disease, peripheral arterial disease, risk factors for cardiovascular events, ulcerative colitis (may be exacerbated), uncontrolled hypertension, renal or hepatic impairment, monitor on long-term therapy, asthma
