How to Take It

200 mg — 24 hourly
For first 14 days then 200mg BD

Follow all directions on your prescription label. Your doctor may occasionally change your dose. Do not use this medicine in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended. Starting with

Child · for 14 days and then inf no rash is present 7mg/kg twice daily.

Acute porphyrias, post-exposure prophylaxis,re-administration to patient with history of hypersensitivity to drug
Important Warnings
Females patients at greater risk of hepatic side effects, patients having high CD4 cell count at greater risk of hepatic side effects
Vigilant monitoring of liver function is required
Caution during 1st 8 week of therapy, patients experiencing rash during the 14 day lead-in period should not have their dose increased until rash has resolved
