Side Effects
Get emergency medical help if you have signs of an allergic reaction : hivesdifficult breathingswelling of your facelipstongueor throat. Sodium bicarbonate may cause serious side effects. Stop using sodium bicarbonate and call your doctor at once if you have: severe stomach painswellingrapid weight gainor shortness of breath (even with mild exertion). Common side effects of sodium bicarbonate may include: dry mouthincreased thirstor urinating more than usual. This is not a complete list of side effects and others may occur.
