Side Effects
Get emergency medical help if you have signs of an allergic reaction: hivesdifficult breathingswelling of your facelipstongueor throat. Common side effects of povidone iodine ophthalmic may include: mild irritation where the medicine was appliedtemporary yellow discoloration of the whites of your eyesor temporary yellow discoloration on the skin where povidone iodine ophthalmic was applied. Less serious side effects may be more likelyand you may have none at all. This is not a complete list of side effects and others may occur. Call your doctor for medical advice about side effects.
