How It Works
It can be administered IV (bolus or infusion), IM or intraperitoneally in a single daily dose following one or more loading doses, intermittent in dextrose 5% or sodium chloride 0.9% or compound sodium lactate.
How to Take It

Maintenance, on each subsequent day of treatment.

Teicoplanin is contraindicated in conditions like Epilepsy, Convulsions, Hypersensitivity
Important Warnings
Renal impairment
plasma-teicoplanin concentration should be monitored during parenteral maintenancetreatment
Also monitor renal and auditory functionduring prolonged treatment in renal impairment and elderly
Monitor blood counts and liver and kidney function tests required
