How It Works
Administer deep IM injection, rotate sites. Do not exceed 600 mg in a single injection. Never give as bolus. Administer by IV intermittent infusion over at least 10-60 min, at a rate not to exceed 30 mg/min; final concentration for administration should not exceed 12 mg/ ml. Dilute 300 mg in 50 ml of diluent and give over 10 mins. Dilute 600 mg in 100 ml of diluent and give over 20 mins. Dilute 900 mg in 100 ml of diluent and give over 30 mins.
