How to Take It

Iodine is contraindicated in conditions like Asthma, Hyperkalemia, Acne vulgaris, Tuberculosis, Goiter, Hypersensitivity, Bronchitis, Vasculitis, Thomsen's disease
Important Warnings
Observed patients closely for acute iodide toxicity, if symptoms appear discontinue the therapy
It should be used with caution in patient with hyperthyroidism, cardiac disease or renal (kidney) impairment
Prolong use during pregnancy is not advised
