How to Take It

Adult · PO
1 to 2 g — 12 hourly
As maintenance dose.

Adult · PO
600 mg — As recommended.
should be given in two divided doses. Take after food as starting dose. Increase gradually to maintenance dose.

20 to 30 mg/kg — 24 hourly
Maintenance doses , exceed upto 35mg/kg

0 to 400 mg — 24 hourly
initial daily dose for children weighing more than 20 kg ,should be given in two divided doses

20 to 40 mg/kg — 24 hourly
initial daily dose for children weighing less han 20 kg ,should be given in two divided doses

Severe hepatic impairment, cirrhosis, biliary obstruction, cholestasis
Important Warnings
Mild to moderate hepatic impairment, renal im-pairment, salt or volume depletion, renal artery stenosis, severe cardiac insufficiency
Monitor serum K+ in elderly and renal impaired if taking K+ supplement
