How It Works
Administered by IM or SC, or slowly IV
How to Take It

Adult · IM
0.02 mg/ kg — As recommended.
For diagnosis of myasthenia gravis

Adult · IV, IM, SC
0.5 to 2.5 mg — As recommended.
Additional doses depend upon the patient response. Max. 10mg/day

Adult · PO
15 mg — 4 hourly
Max. 375mg/day

Child · Intra Venous
50 to 0 ug/kg — As recommended.
To severe neuromuscular blockade.

Child · Oral
200 to 0 mg/kg — 6 hourly
For Myasthenia grains.

Intestinal or urinary obstruction
Important Warnings
Arrhythmias, asthma (extreme caution), cardiac disease, renal impairment (reduce dose), vagotonia, epilepsy, Parkinsonism, bradycardia, hyperthyroidism, hypotension, peptic ulceration, recent myocardial infarction
Glycopyrronium or atropine should also be given when reversing neuromuscular blockade
