How to Take It

20 to 35 mg/ kg — As recommended.
Daily in 3-4 div.doses. Maximum dose: 3 g/24hr. Usually given during 1st 2 months of therapy.

History of gout or diabetes, perform frequently liver function tests and blood uric acid determinations
withdraw treatment if liver damage or hyperuricaemia accompanied by acute gouty arthritis occurs
